On April 27, 2021, the market-leading business and finance online magazine, BusinessFocus, successfully hosted the first BusinessFocus Award Ceremony at the JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong. Aiming to spread positive energy to society, BusinessFocus Award 2021 recognised organisations for their courage, entrepreneurial and corporate excellence.

Executive Council convenor Bernard Chan mentioned the economic, social disruption and daunting challenges posed by the pandemic in his speech. He praised the BusinessFocus Award for offering essential encouragement to cheer up the business sector, and said “Hong Kong is a strong city where all businesses never give up and strive to overcome difficulties.’

This year, there are 12 award-winning companies ranging from large to SMEs boasting in various business categories, including real estate business, financial services, information and technology services, mobile telecommunications providers, electronic payment solutions services, student intermediary services and medical supplies services, etc. Their outstanding performances in the past year made them well-deserved.
