Hang Seng University Students Worked As Interns At PressLogic

As a good corporate citizen, PressLogic has participated in the “One Student, One Internship” organised by the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) to nurture professional talents this year.

Two interns from HSUHK joined BusinessFocus, one of PressLogic’s marketing leading digital media focusing on finance and business news, for an internship lasting about 2.5 months from 15 June to 31 August 2021. Both studying for The Bachelor of Journalism and Communication, Ruby Ip and Daniel Kwong were assigned tasks, projects and duties that are relevant to their academic profiles. They assisted in video content and Facebook posts, as well as creating business and international news content.

Apart from hands-on experience, both interns claimed to have received a lot of valuable guidance and coaching from their supervisors during the placement. Daniel said, “It’s my honour to have the opportunity to work as an intern at BusinessFocus and to try different positions.”

Besides, Ruby mentioned, “We sometimes work outside and conduct interviews to meet new things and diversified people, which really has broadened my horizon.”

By giving the interns authentic work experiences and useful guidance, we aim to increase their employability in the job market, and we hope the students can find jobs that suit their passion, personality and strength so that they can live in a future in which they can all thrive.
